Back side of the Hoover medallion.

1914 Original Limited Edition Silver Plated Belgian Relief Medal. This medal was minted in 1914 to raise funds for Belgian food relief. One medal would have fed a Belgian child for one month, but because of the German occupation they could not be sold.
